Group of WWI period Marine Corps items consisting of a set of enlisted dress blues and trousers. Has an embroidered shoulder patch for the 2nd division, possibly 6th Marine Corps division due to the traces of red cloth around the star, plus his overseas service stripes on his sleeve. Comes with a matching period visor missing the EGA as the family lost it.. We have his medals as a numbered (No25675) USMC Good Conduct medal, plus a 3 bar US Vistory medal for Meuse-Argonne, St. Mihiel, and Defensive Sector with the medal reversed, his Sharpshooter medal, and 2 period bronze collar EGA's. Man's name was Martin Nelson. Uniform in excellent condition missing one button.
