Germany: Early Flight medal

Large German bronze medal commemorating the 1912  aviation deaths of Gustav Beissbarth and Georg Langzed.  They apparently died in a plane crash during a storm on October 19, 1912.  Nice double portraits on obverse.  Reverse shows an ealy bi-plane plus a long inscription covering the circumstances of their demise.  Very rare early avaition piece..  Massive at 4 inches in diameter.  A fewscrapes on the reverse.
